
Join us for our inaugural Georgetown Summer Art Walk on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 12:00 PM -5:00 PM.
The event will feature 16 local venues showcasing a diverse range of artwork, including photography, paintings, sculptures, and mixed media pieces.
Throughout the day, you'll have the chance to meet and chat with the artists, learn about their inspirations and creative processes, and purchase unique pieces to add to your collection.

1. Addison/Ripley Fine Art
During its 40-plus continuous years in business, Addison/Ripley Fine Art has exhibited local, national, and international talent, shepherding emerging artists and highlighting established ones, all while fostering a sense of community between our artists, clients, and the fine arts community of Washington, DC. In addition to rotating exhibitions and artist talks, our services include art acquisition, placement, lighting, framing, appraisals, and more.
Exhibit: John Morrell: a Memorial Exhibition
Description: Addison/Ripley Fine Art is pleased to present a memorial exhibition for highly respected DMV artist and professor, John Morrell (1951 - 2025). Thoughtfully curated, based on over thirty years working with the artist, chosen from more than 30 years of work in the artist’s Virginia studio, this exhibition includes works on paper as well as on canvas, many of which celebrate Washington, DC.

2. StudioLab RD
Established in 2022, StudioLab RD is a hybrid gallery-studio by contemporary abstract artist Robin Davisson, creating connection through art in the heart of Georgetown. StudioLab RD reimagines the relationships between art and audience, process and product, artist and entrepreneur.
Exhibit: "In the Making" by Robin Davisson
Description: StudioLab RD will present an open studio experience centered around a painting in progress. Visitors are invited to step inside and observe a large-scale work as it unfolds throughout the day, offering a quiet glimpse into the creative process.
A newly installed exhibition of summer-inspired work will also be on view, bringing a fresh, seasonal energy to the gallery.

3. Washington Printmakers Gallery
Washington Printmakers Gallery, founded by local artists in 1985, is the greater DC metro area’s primary source for contemporary fine art prints, photographs, and artists’ books, with a membership of exceptional local and national printmakers, photographers, and book artists. The gallery maintains a full calendar of juried shows, group and solo exhibitions, workshops, classes, talks, internships, and outreach programs that engage and enrich the Washington, DC community.

4. Calloway Fine Art & Consulting
Calloway Fine Art & Consulting, founded in 1993 in the historic Georgetown neighborhood of Washington DC, specializes in contemporary art by local, regional, and international artists. CFAC offers a wide range of representational and abstract paintings and prints, as well as select photography and sculpture, in addition to comprehensive consulting services for both residential and commercial clients.
Exhibit: The Summer Exhibition
Description: Inspired by the warmer weather and the sights, sounds, and senses of summer, this exhibition invites the viewer to embrace the spirit of the outdoors with original art from The Calloway Collection.

5. Gallery Article 15
Founded in 2022, Gallery Article 15 specializes in contemporary art from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The gallery features an extensive collection of works by emerging, mid-career, and established Congolese artists and also promotes Congolese art and culture through special events and programs.
Exhibit: Portraits of a People: Portraiture in Contemporary Congolese Art
Description: Portraits of a People showcases portraiture by leading contemporary Congolese artists. While presenting a diversity of styles, techniques and subject matter, the works all reflect universal themes of humanity.

6. Gallery 16Ten
Founded in August 2024, Gallery 16Ten is an intimate space where art is celebrated, and cultural experiences are cultivated. From visual art to various cultural activities, the gallery regularly hosts art exhibitions and related events, creating an environment that fosters a community of artistic expression and connection.
Exhibit: Homecoming
Description: The exhibition brings together works that move at a slower pace. Landscapes, gestures, and quiet moments form the core of the works, offering points of connection that carry a sense of Homecoming.

7. L'Enfant Gallery of Georgetown
Established in 1973 has three floors of art and antiques with surprises around every corner.
Activity: In addition to multiple floors of artwork and antiques, enjoy PAINTING WITH A POET in the window at L'Enfant Gallery - another live art collaboration.
Description: Inspired by concepts from Sylvia Plath and Robert Frost, Christina Sevilla is the painter and with Aidan Fitzsimons, the traveling poet, they will create a pair of mixed media poem paintings.

8. Shop Made in DC
The Artcelerate Residency Program is Shop Made Brands effort to support local artists by giving them the space to showcase their work. This exciting opportunity will support small businesses and artisans to further their business and entrepreneurial goals, and open the door to the vast network within the DC creative community!

Description: Experience the vibrant and diverse voices of local LGBTQIA+ artists in our latest art exhibition, PROUD. This show highlights the talent and creativity of queer artists across various mediums, as they bring their unique perspectives, voices, and visions to life.

9. Limits and Proximities Gallery
Opened to the public in 2025, the Limits and Proximities Gallery is a unique sanctuary to experience the profound themes that are explored in the works of the Bolivian/American artist and philosopher, Fernando Casas. In addition to being a public space for the exhibition of art, the gallery’s mission includes fomenting artistic collaboration, creating a forum for discussion of art, and providing educational opportunities for aspiring artists and aspiring art aficionados.

4. Opportunity Shop
The Opportunity Shop has been a Georgetown destination for antiques, fine art, and design since 1933. Spanning two floors, the shop features tens of thousands of unique treasures, including original artwork, jewelry, and distinctive antiques, all donated or on consignment. Every purchase supports programs for women and children in DC, including the Beloved Babies Layette Program, Girls on the Rise Program, and Student Success Program.

For the Art walk, Occasional Classics Car Club will feature a cool display of American Classics cars. Currently our car club is mostly made up with cars from the late 60s to mid 70s. The 60/70s era of classic cars is sometimes consider the end of true American big and floaty classic cars, right before the early 70s gas crisis. After the mid-70s most car designs in America got smaller and smaller.
Our classic car club aims to showcase a window of history of American car design for all to enjoy.
