
SPRING ART WALK 2026

Join us for a celebration of spring, creativity and art at the Georgetown Spring Art Walk on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 12:00 PM -5:00 PM.
The event will feature over a dozen local venues showcasing a diverse range of artwork, including photography, paintings, sculptures, and mixed media pieces.
Throughout the day, you'll have the chance to meet and chat with the artists, learn about their inspirations and creative processes, and purchase unique pieces to add to your collection.

PARTICIPATING GALLERIES
1. Addison/Ripley Fine Art
During its 40-plus continuous years in business, Addison/Ripley Fine Art has exhibited local, national, and international talent, shepherding emerging artists and highlighting established ones, all while fostering a sense of community between our artists, clients, and the fine arts community of Washington, DC. In addition to rotating exhibitions and artist talks, our services include art acquisition, placement, lighting, framing, appraisals, and more.
Exhibit: MORPHIC FIELDS
Description: Through her paintings, both on canvas and paper, artist Carol Brown Goldberg explores the intertwined concepts of memory of home or memory becoming our home in her exhibition, "MORPHIC FIELDS."

2. StudioLab RD
Established in 2022, StudioLab RD is a hybrid gallery-studio by contemporary abstract artist Robin Davisson, creating connection through art in the heart of Georgetown. StudioLab RD reimagines the relationships between art and audience, process and product, artist and entrepreneur.

Description:
Activity: Guests choose a small folded card as they enter; inside is a prompt about renewal, creativity, noticing; a few "golden" cards unlock: 1) a gallery credit, 2) a free art print, 3) an invite back for a private studio visit; there will also be a spring-themed exhibition in the gallery.

3. Washington Printmakers Gallery
Washington Printmakers Gallery, founded by local artists in 1985, is the greater DC metro area’s primary source for contemporary fine art prints, photographs, and artists’ books, with a membership of exceptional local and national printmakers, photographers, and book artists. The gallery maintains a full calendar of juried shows, group and solo exhibitions, workshops, classes, talks, internships, and outreach programs that engage and enrich the Washington, DC community.
Exhibit: What Passes Between: Solo Exhibit by Clare Winslow
Description: Screenprinted works that trace invisible forces across veiled fields of light, marking what moves between boundaries of day and night, weight and weightlessness. This show is concurrent with the Washington Printmakers' monthly exhibit of photography and printmaking.

5. Calloway Fine Art & Consulting
Calloway Fine Art & Consulting, founded in 1993 in the historic Georgetown neighborhood of Washington DC, specializes in contemporary art by local, regional, and international artists. CFAC offers a wide range of representational and abstract paintings and prints, as well as select photography and sculpture, in addition to comprehensive consulting services for both residential and commercial clients.
Exhibit: John Aquilino and Andrew Sovjani - A Visual Dialogue
Description: A visual dialogue exploring the linear relationships between urban landscape and structural still life. Both artists engage the audience with a depth of simplicity in the representation of space in two dimensions, combining realistic and abstract elements to form a nuanced composition.

6. Gallery Article 15
Founded in 2022, Gallery Article 15 specializes in contemporary art from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The gallery features an extensive collection of works by emerging, mid-career, and established Congolese artists and also promotes Congolese art and culture through special events and programs.
Exhibit: The Mosaic of Life: Stories of a Fractured World -- An Exhibition of Works by Jérôme Kasongo
Description: In this series of works, self-taught Congolese artist Jérôme Kasongo explores the world around him, transforming the cracks and breaks that are part of everyday life into vibrantly painted mosaics that symbolize hope and aspiration.

7. Gallery 16Ten
Founded in August 2024, Gallery 16Ten is an intimate space where art is celebrated, and cultural experiences are cultivated. From visual art to various cultural activities, the gallery regularly hosts art exhibitions and related events, creating an environment that fosters a community of artistic expression and connection.

Description: The exhibition brings together local and international artists whose varied visual languages come into shared space. Through color, form, and expression, the works reflect a collective spirit of renewal, connection, and growth.

9. Shop Made in DC
Founded by Stacey Price of People Make Place and Michael Babin of Neighborhood Restaurant Group, Shop Made is a retail initiative with a mission to grow DC's makers and artists. Now with six DC locations and sister brands in Virginia and Maryland, we are home to over 10,000 MADE IN DC/VA and MARYLAND products including apothecary, apparel, art, furniture, jewelry, home decor, and stationery and host classes and art showings.

Description: In celebration of Women’s History Month, Shop Made in DC is hosting its annual SHE:DC exhibition to showcase women and non-binary artists in the District.

2. The Phoenix
The Phoenix will feature a curated exhibition of fine art originals and prints by Sarah Madeira Day of Maine and Frida Bueno and Fernando Olivera of Mexico, celebrating cross-cultural creativity, craftsmanship, and storytelling through art.

SPECIAL PROGRAMMING
12:00 - 2:00pm – World Music Collective, Jazz
The World Music Collective is a mixed instrumentation chamber ensemble with members that are internationally recognized performers, composers, and improvisers based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Performing a blend of jazz, world music and contemporary styles, the ensemble’s focus includes entertainment, education, and social justice.
