Georgetown Main Street is happy to announce I Do: A Georgetown Wedding Event on Saturday, March 28.

Charming Georgetown has long been a destination for couples planning their wedding. Not only are the brick streets the perfect backdrop for engagement photos, the neighborhood also has stunning venues and the largest concentration of businesses in the wedding industry. Because it is unparalleled, Georgetown I Do will attract hundreds of visitors to Georgetown.


I Do will include an interactive wedding expo, an expert panel, wedding activations, and an afternoon of shopping and celebrating at the local businesses related to the wedding industry. Additionally, this year we are introducing an exclusive I Do Passport that will include special promotions from venues, retailers, restaurants to guide attendees throughout the afternoon.

In our third year, Georgetown Main Street is eager to share our amazing event partners, Evoke Design & Creative for the day-of coordination and official Coordinator Partner, the Ritz-Carlton Georgetown as the official Venue Partner, and BYT as the official Media Partner.


Timeline - Saturday March 28th

  • 10:00a-12:15p - Check-in and Vendor Hall at Ritz-Carlton Georgetown

  • 12:15-1:00p - Expert Panel at Ritz-Carlton Georgetown

  • 1:00-3:00p - Explore Georgetown with I Do Passport 

  • 3:00p - Closeout Cocktail Hour at TBD


This year, I Do Georgetown has an exclusive media partner with Brightest Young Things! Throughout the month of March, participants and vendors will have the opportunity to be featured in promotions.

The event will also be promoted on social media, including Facebook and Instagram and advertised in DC blogs & newsletters and through participating businesses and sponsors. 

The estimated reach of the marketing for Georgetown I Do is to 50,000 people in the Metropolitan region. The largest audience is women aged 21-34. 





There are a few ways your business can be involved with I Do Georgetown.


Be a Sponsor

I Do offers an opportunity to promote your business directly to an audience immediately connected to wedding planning. With hundreds of couples in attendance, an expected impression of 50,000, and an exclusive I Do Passport, your brand will have heightened visibility to couples and their families. Different sponsorship packages include a range of activation and engagement benefits. With extensive marketing throughout the DMV, partnerships with participating businesses, and an official media partner, we guarantee 

Pricing: Sponsorship packages start at $200.


Deadline: Midnight, February 28th


Promote your Business at the Ritz-Carlton

As a vendor, your business will have a space commensurate with the activities you plan to host at The Ritz-Carlton Georgetown, our official Venue Partner. Vendor spaces are extremely LIMITED.

Include a Promotion in the Exclusive I Do Passport:

Attendees will receive an exclusive passport designed with the couple in mind. Decide on the promotion (under 100 characters).


  • $25 for small/local businesses in the GMS Corridor

  • $50 for small/local business outside the GMS Corridor

  • $100 for national retailers

Deadline: Midnight Saturday, February 29th.

Provide a Giveaway for the Raffle:

Attendees will receive one raffle ticket in their welcome bag which they will use to enter to win whichever giveaway item or service best suits their wedding wants/needs. The value of the gift must be $100 or more.


Examples: $100 gift certificate to your store, gift card for brunch for 4, one hour consultation with expert in xyz, in-kind donation of wedding item  

Deadline: All items must be ready March 24th by 5:00pm.
