THE SWEETEST TOUR OF GEORGETOWN

Based on the widely successful Georgetown Cookie Tour, we bring a second edition - Georgetown Sweets Tour!

THE PREMISE:

The Georgetown Sweets Tour will partner local bakeries with independent retailers to create a delicious synergy among small businesses. Attendees will visit 12 small, locally owned businesses to build their own box of unique sweets while shopping and discovering retail shops they have never been to before. This family-friendly event is fit for all groups: 

  • new neighbors who want to learn more about Georgetown

  • families looking for fun things to do once school is out

  • friends looking to explore the neighborhood 

TICKETS:

The Georgetown Sweets Tour is part promotion and part fundraiser for Georgetown Main Street. We are a mission-driven organization that seeks to support the small business community in Georgetown.

  • Tickets are $35 each (SOLD OUT)

    • One ticket = One dozen sweets (you can share one ticket with multiple people)

  • "CRUMBLES" ticket are $15 - now available.

    • An assortment of 6 sweets from the tour. ​

 

After cost of goods, all proceeds from your ticket go toward technical assistance and promotional events to strengthen small businesses through nonprofit Georgetown Main Street. Thanks for your support!

TICKET HOLDER DETAILS

Here's what you need to know:

  • Please have your Eventbrite ticket handy (by email is fine). If you lose or delete your ticket, ensure you know the name associated with the ticket purchase.

  • Please visit the Welcome Center any time between 12pm-3pm on June 25 to check-in. Here, you will receive your Georgetown Sweets Tour Box and a map of the stops on the tour.

    • The Georgetown Sweets Tour Welcome Center will be located at Chase Bank at the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and P Street at 3217 P Street NW.

  • The total length of the tour is a little over 1 mile, so come with comfortable walking shoes and monitor the weather to wear attire suitable to cold/warm temperatures.

  • You will pick up your sweets at each of the retail stops between 12:00am-5:00pm. After 5pm, all the sweets will be brought back to the Welcome Center. Sweets will not be available for pick up after 5pm at any of the individual retail locations.
