ALL TREATS, NO TRICKS.
Bring your best-dressed pup to Georgetown for a Halloween treat! On Saturday, October 31 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., dogs and their humans can trick-or-treat their way along Wisconsin Avenue, stopping at participating businesses for treats and water along the route. Cap off the fun with a doggy costume contest at 1 p.m., judged by our friends at Friendship Hospital for Animals and Georgetown Veterinary Hospital.

TICKETS:
The standard ticket is $25. An additional eventbrite fee (but no tax) will be added to the ticket price. You may bring multiple dogs, but you will need to purchase a ticket for each dog - this is to ensure we don't overwhelm the participating shops and narrow sidewalks of Georgetown.
Proceeds from the Woof Walk will go toward Georgetown Main Street (GMS) events and . To learn more about GMS, visit georgetownmainstreet.com.
COSTUME CONTEST at 1:00 pm:
We have space for 25 dogs to participate in our inaugural doggy costume contest. If you have multiple dogs, you will need a ticket for each. There will be 5 judges.
Dogs will be evaluated in the following categories:
Best Overall
Best Duo (human + dog combo costume)
Most Creative
Winners in each category will receive a prize box with goodies from local partners. No dog can win more than one category.
REFUND POLICY:
Tickets can be fully refunded up to 5 days in advance (October 26 by 11:00am), eventbrite fees will still apply.
Cancellations between 5 days in advance and up to the event cannot be refunded. We encourage you to pass your ticket along to a friend.
RAIN CANCELLATION POLICY:
In the event of rain, the Wisconsin Avenue Woof Walk will be rescheduled to Sunday, November 1, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We will notify all ticket holders by email through Eventbrite by 12 p.m. on Friday, October 30. Tickets for October 31 will be honored on November 1.
Refunds will not be issued for the rescheduled date. If you are unable to attend on Sunday, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend through Eventbrite.
If rain is forecast for both days, the event will be canceled and all ticket holders will receive a full refund. We will notify ticket holders of a cancellation by 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31.
PARTICIPATION WAIVER:
All participants are required to accept our Release of Liability during checkout in order to receive a ticket. By registering, you acknowledge that you and your dogs are participating voluntarily and at your own risk, and you agree to release Georgetown Main Street, its board, volunteers, sponsors, and participating businesses from liability for injury, loss, or damage. Also by participating you acknowledge your dogs are up to date on vaccines and are good around other dogs and humans. [Read the full waiver here.]
