Robin Bell’s talent for combining groundbreaking technology with more traditional painting and printmaking into hybrid, relatable spinoffs facilitates a more personal relationship between the artist and his work. From his current Milk Tree studio, Bell seeks and nourishes community as a vital partner for his highly contemporary, rapidly evolving art.

During its 40 plus years in the business, Addison/Ripley Fine Art has exhibited local, national and international talent, shepherding emerging artists and highlighting established ones. Throughline brings together multiple ways of making—painting, stitching, collage, sculptural form, and layered surfaces—into a single visual language. Though each work is constructed differently, they are united by a shared vocabulary of gesture, material, rhythm, and a luminous palette, revealing that what connects them is not a technique, but a way of seeing.

StudioLab RD is the working studio and contemporary gallery of Washington, DC artist Robin Davisson. Visitors are invited to explore original abstract paintings, experience art in the making, and step inside an active creative space.

Here and There is a new body of work continuing my investigation in the memory and importance of interior domestic spaces and the everyday objects they contain. By combining paint, wood, textiles, and embellishments in a variety of ways, I aim to memorialize the objects of daily ritual and the spaces in which they take place.

Founded by Stacey Price of People Make Place and Michael Babin of Neighborhood Restaurant Group, Shop Made in DC is a retail initiative with a mission to grow DC's makers and artists. As the first store dedicated to only Made in DC products, our five locations in Georgetown, Union Market, the Wharf, The Roost, and Canopy Embassy Row, are home to over 200 makers and nearly 5,000 MADE IN DC products including apothecary, apparel, art, furniture, jewelry, home decor and stationery.
