Clyde’s of Georgetown opened on August 12, 1963, not long after restrictive DC liquor laws had been repealed.

The Georgetown community is very helpful and nice. I always wanted to open a small place to serve healthy food here.

Chef Sandoval created El Centro to introduce Washington, D.C. to signature Mexican flavors and traditional dishes that he grew up enjoying.
