Georgetown Main Street
Take Out Tuesday with Liberté
On Tuesday, February 8th, please join your neighbors in ordering Take Out from Brasserie Liberté or Reren Lamen.
We asked the Executive Chef of Liberté, Matthew Cockrell a few questions for the campaign. Find his answers below.
What led you to the food industry?
I always grew up cooking with my parents which is where my love of food started. Cooking was always a way for me to reach my goals. I supported myself through college then making music by being a cook. Once I felt satisfied with those goals, I went to culinary school to make a career out of my passions.
What is unique about having a restaurant in Georgetown?
Georgetown is unique because it offers a diverse clientele from students, to employees, to professionals and beyond. Prospect Street is the gateway to Georgetown and we are located on this magical street. We have the opportunity to serve guests from every walk of life.
Why is it important for our Georgetown neighbors to support all Georgetown restaurants?
Neighborhood inclusivity is incredibly important. We all support each other and we take care of our fellow restaurant neighbors. The owners and employees of restaurants in Georgetown are quick to provide each other with table cloths or products if they weren’t delivered that day. Neighborhood support ensures all of our doors stay open!
Brasserie Liberté is offering a complimentary chocolate pot de crème when guests mention TOT. Order online here (Preferred method) make sure to write "Take Out Tuesday" in the special notes. Order delivery through Uber Eats here.
